After teasing them at CES 2025, GE Lighting (part of Savant Group) will eventually flip the switch with its new GE Cync Dynamic Effects Smart Café Lights, the latest outdoor mood setter.
They were available from today, landed just in time for a summer night and sat around the patio.
GE’s new take features feature corkscrew-style filaments that provide saturated colors without harsh glares. This should help you set the right atmosphere just to the right, whether you throw backyard bashes or roll them up with drinks and favorite playlists.
Each light bulb along the string can be controlled individually via the CYNC app and can also be synced to the music.
This means you can create custom lighting shows that match the beat, shift the mood, and ride 16 million color options and white tones on your bike.
The brightness is adjustable, the voice control is burnt with (Hello Alexa and Google Assistant) and if you’re already investing in that smart home setup, it works well with the rest of the Cync ecosystem.
The lights are 24 feet ($39.99) and 48 feet ($69.99) long, with extended support totaling up to 96 feet. This is ample coverage to wrap around your deck, stretch your garden, and fram the perimeter of your porch.
With built-in hooks and a sturdy design, installation should be easy enough. They are IP65 rated for outdoor use. This means that rain, wind, or whatever your local weather throws at them is good.
The LED is rated up to 15,000 hours and is part of GE Lighting’s wider Cync platform, so it integrates with your entire home schedule, scenes and smart routines.
You can get the new GE Cync Dynamic Effects SmartCafé Lights on the GE Lighting website, Amazon, and Walmart.
