The Alexa app has many features and settings within it, as it works with the Smart Assistant from the connections of various smart home devices to set up Alexa routines for automated homes.
However, Alexa isn’t just useful for updating the weather and making jokes. Amazon’s assistants can also order items from online retailers through Echo Show or Echo speakers.
For it to work, you need to turn on voice purchases. How do you do that? Don’t worry, we will cover you.

Audio purchases on Alexa are self-evident in several ways. You can order items from Amazon using audio via an echo display or an echo speaker. Depending on which echo device you use, there are a variety of experiences depending on the echo display that provides a more user-friendly experience. However, you need to turn on audio purchases, which is what helps you do below:
There are a few other parameters that can be placed in addition to turning on or off audio purchases. When enabled, voice purchases allow you to make Amazon purchases and payments via voice, which occur according to your one-click settings. The default payment method is used when you buy something from Amazon via Alexa using voice. So make sure you have chosen the appropriate card or payment method.
You can also set your purchase confirmation preferences. This allows you to choose the audio profile and audio code to confirm your Amazon purchases and payments. The audio code is a 4-digit pin and you need to say it when using ALEXA to confirm your Amazon purchase or payment.
You can also purchase content for children. You can toggle this on or off, but if it is on, family children can purchase their children’s skills and subscriptions. Don’t worry. You will receive text or emails to approve your purchase and prevent your invoice from being too expensive without entering it from you, but you may be thinking about turning it off.

Step 1.
Open the Alexa app and head to Settings
Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet and tap the (More) tab at the bottom of the screen. From here, another screen will appear. After that, you will need to tap Settings.

Step 2.
Open Account Settings
There are many options in the (Settings) menu. One of these is “Account Settings”. It is located just below “Your Profile and Family.” Tap it to access “Voice Purchase”.

Step 3.
Select your audio purchase preference
In your account settings, tap “Purchase Audio”. This section doesn’t have many options, so it’s easy to find. Once there, turn off audio purchases.

Step 4.
Select whether to set the audio code
If you want to set up a voice code for your purchase so that there is an extra layer of protection from yourself and your spending presence, tap Manage next to the Purchase Confirmation section. You can then tap “Voice Code” to select a four-digit code. You can press (Save) or select (Audio Profile).

Step 5.
Make your child’s content off purchase
If you want to turn off or turn on your child’s content, tap Manage next to the Children’s Content Purchase section in the Audio Purchase menu. Sign in to your Amazon account and switch toggle to your liking.
that’s it! If you turn on Voice Purchase, you can now purchase it on Amazon using Voice and Alexa. If you turn it off using the above steps, you will no longer be able to purchase Alexa.
