Amazon’s Echo speakers and displays offer plenty of features, from playing music and podcasts to talking about the weather and announcing who is at the entrance.
You can also use Alexa for your echo speakers, or order or reorder items via Amazon.
The Echo Show range also shows up if future Amazon orders are required. This covers separately, but focuses on how to order or reorder Amazon items from your Echo display or speaker using Alexa.

First, tell Alexa to order the item you want. For example, say “Order Alexa, Razor Blades” on your echo display or echo speaker. A list of options is displayed on the Echo Show or Echo Hub. If you are using an echo speaker, Alexa will automatically add the most likely items to your basket.

Please tell Alexa the item number
When using an echo display, you can scroll through the options offered by Alexa on the screen. It’s a simple swipe. To order one of the products in the list, say “Alexa, add number 1 to basket” or “Alexa, reorder item number 1”. If you are using an echo speaker, Alexa will tell you what items have been added to your basket. After that you can decide whether that’s what you want or not.

Make sure audio purchase is enabled
You need to make sure audio purchase is enabled here. If enabled, Alexa simply orders the selected item using the default payment method. Depending on how you set up, you may be asked for pins to confirm your purchase. If you haven’t done so, there’s another guide on setting up audio purchases.
