Prepare the Injury Using the Reaming Tool
Locate the puncture and remove any foreign objects. Inspect the damage to ensure it is repairable. Use the TECH Spiral Reaming Tool to clean and open the puncture channel, ensuring a smooth application.
Apply Vulcanizing Fluid
Insert the TECH Insert Tool into the puncture hole to measure depth and prep the area. Apply TECH Vulcanizing Fluid generously inside the puncture channel. Allow the fluid to sit for a few moments to activate its chemical bonding properties.
Insert the Tire Repair
Thread the TECH Permacure Repair Unit through the eye of the insertion tool. Push the repair unit into the tire puncture until both ends of the unit are inside the tire. Rotate and slowly pull the tool out, leaving the tire plug repair unit in place for a tight, secure bond.
Repair is Ready to Trim
Trim any excess rubber from the outside of the tire. Ensure the repair is flush with the tread for optimal performance and safety. Allow time for the vulcanization process to naturally bond the tire plugs unit to the tire structure.
