Does this give out 12V?

This is the third generation product, featuring a boost module (BOOST 5V/9V to 12V) and a trigger module (FOR QUICK CHARGE). Regardless of whether your USB outputs 5V or 9V/12V, the adapter end will always output 12V.

If my USB port is not a quick charge port and only outputs 5V/1A, can the 12v adapter still output 30W?

I’m sorry, but it can only convert USB port output to a 12V adapter. If your USB port only 5V/1A output, then it can only output 12V/0.4A; however, if your USB supports QC3.0 or PD3.0, then it can output a higher power and larger current.

Can it power my dashcam?

A single-camera dashcam requires 5W, which is sufficient. However, if your dashcam comes equipped with a GPS, WiFi, or a rear-view mirror screen, multiple cameras, ADAS , H.265 encoding, need more than 12W. You’ll need a fast-charging USB port.

Does this USB to 12V adapter have the capability to output 30W, given that my USB-C outputs 65W?

It’s not a given. To achieve 30W output, a PD/QC3.0 output that supports 12V/2.5A is required. Many 65W PDs lack 12V output, providing only a 9V. They would need to work in conjunction with booster, resulting in an output of only around 12V/1.6A.

Does this usb to 12v adapter have an auto-shutdown feature?

I’m sorry, but this feature is not available. However, some QC3.0 ports do have an auto-shutdown feature. Once the USB is plugged in, if no other devices are connected to the 12V adapter within 5 seconds, the USB port will automatically shut down.
